Ovzon has received a new order for service from the U.S. Department of Defense (U.S. DoD) through our partner Intelsat General Communications (IGC). The one-year order represents an expansion of the US DoD’s use of Ovzon’s global, high-data-throughput satellite communication services.
This order will increase the U.S DoD’s existing footprint of Ovzon’s already established global services, providing unmatched performance and exceptional resiliency for both training and operational scenarios.
The service will be empowered by the US DoD’s existing inventory of “On the Move” and “On the Pause” terminals including the new Ovzon T6 terminal. The Ovzon T6 terminal is Ovzon’s latest addition to our advanced mobility product offerings: an ultra-small, simple-to-use, lightweight and rugged satellite terminal.
”We are honored and pleased to receive this new and expanded order from U.S. DoD. It clearly represents the next step in further enhancing our customers’ use of Ovzon’s services. Ovzon’s unique capabilities meet the advanced requirements of this important customer, providing unmatched performance, mobility, security and throughput: four key enablers that allow the US DoD to execute their global mission”, says Per Norén, CEO of Ovzon.
