Ovzon has signed a distributor agreement with Gomedia Satcom, in which Gomedia will represent and sell Ovzon’s innovative satellite communication services in Italy. Gomedia has also secured an initial order from an Italian customer.
Ovzon and Gomedia Satcom will together market Ovzon’s services based on leased capacity, Ovzon’s mobile terminals and efficient, reliable support. From early 2022 the offering will be expanded with capacity from Ovzon’s own first satellite, Ovzon-3.
Ovzon-3 is an important step to further revolutionize mobile broadband by satellite, offering the highest bandwidth with the smallest terminals. Ovzon 3 is the first of a number of satellites planned for global coverage of Ovzon’s high-end service.
Gomedia Satcom, founded in 2015, is a leading supplier of advanced satellite communication services in Italy. Gomedia’s business include IP, VoIP and Videoconference satellite connectivity services to companies and institutional customers. Gomedia customers include the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department of Civil Protection and the Ministry of Defense.
